"Doing vs. Being"
There is a scene in the Bible where Jesus is talking to Martha, "Martha, Martha, you are worried about many things, but few things are needed - or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better and it will not be taken away from her. (Luke 10:41-41). Earlier passage (verse 39) it describes, "Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said." I walked with Jesus to learn what it means to live a life of being instead of doing.

"Doing vs. Being"

Do you want to live your life in a hurry, unfulfilled, and lonely?
Do you want to live your life in peace, joy, and love?
How are you living now?
Do you have peace?
Do you have joy?
Do you have love in your heart?
Are you tired and weary?
Are you exhausted and burn out?
Are you feeling lonely and painful in your heart?
Have you slow down enough to see yourself?
Have you spend time alone to hear God clearly?
Have you opened up your heart to be healed deep within?
Why not take time to see yourself for who you are?
Why not spend time with God to hear Him say who you are?
Why not open up your heart to release all your pain and hurt to live freely and truly as who you are?
We can’t live this way of life by busy “Doing”.
We try to fill our days with many activities and achievement to feel fulfilled.
Do you feel peace, joy, and love this way?
We can only feel peace when we can slow down enough to hear His gentle and loving voice.
We can only feel joy when we spend enough time with God to know Him and be loved by Him.
We can only feel love when we open up our hearts to know our true self and accept ourselves as we are.
Only to live by “Being” with Him and “Being” who we are in Him.
This is the way of life.
This is the life of freedom.
This is the truth.
