"Naked and Unashamed"
This poem was created as I was meditating on a drawing below during my Spiritual Formation course (Unsure the source, will add when I have the information for this painting). I wanted to be like this baby "Naked and Unashamed" before my God.
"Naked and Unashamed"
Brutally honest
I come before You
How else can I come?
When You know all already
Hiding nothing
I come before You
How else can I come?
When you see all already
Being vulnerable
I come before You
How else can I come?
When you love all already
So I come naked and unashamed
Fully embracing who I am
Fully knowing who You are
Being confident
I stand before You
How else can I stand?
When You know who I am
Being comforted
I stand before You
How else can I stand?
When You see as I am
Being peaceful
I stand before You
How else can I stand?
When You love all I am
So I stand naked and unashamed
Fully embracing who I am
